Soft Soles uses only sterile to point of use tools. This means that tools are autoclaved and sealed for one time use; just like surgery tools. This protects the client from cross contamination from MRSA, VRE, TB, HIV, HEP-B as well as other hard to destroy pathogens such as the spores that cause fungus. These pathogens cannot be killed by chemical soaking/cleaning the tools alone. Health Canada considers foot care to be a critical care issue. Soft Soles uses PPE with each client, guarantying the highest infection control practices.
HEALTH CARE INFORMATION AND PRIVACY
Soft Soles uses a protected electronic medical record system that allows clients (POA or MRSP) to review their care plan and refer or take action as required.
They can book sessions, cancel and change appointments online or through reception.
Our databases are held on secure servers using the same encryption as the banking industry. The data is kept on Canadian shores. Upholding the highest standard of health care information privacy in all provinces and exceeding those of Ontario. We take privacy seriously.
