Twelve-story residence building and two-story nursing home
Both the resident and the Government contribute towards the total cost of accommodation in a long-term care facility. The resident pays accommodation charges only. The Government pays for the cost of nursing care and other services. The amount paid by residents for accommodation is called “co-payment”. Rates are set annually by the Ministry of Health.
