Units include thermostat for heat and extra storage space, includes communal dining room, recreation rooms, security entry system, medical examination room, shared kitchen facilities, laundry room, craft/games room, outdoor recreation space, bank, hairdresser, doctor’s office, library, chapel, dental clinic, resident and visitor parking.
Majority of residents require assistance with activities of daily living.
40% of the units are subsidized.
All long term care facilities (nursing homes) have rates that are government determined with Basic = $1,619.08, semi- private to $1862.41 to Private $2166.58. The basic accommodation is income based and therefore eligible for reduction from that amount, upon application.
