Get ready to add a new item to your bucket list this winter: for the first time ever, you can ice skate in front of Parliament Hill in Canada’s Capital! From Dec. 7, 2017 to Feb. 25, 2018, the Canada 150 Rink in front of Centre Block will be bustling with free skating, special guests, as well as a variety of exciting events. It’s the chance of a lifetime to enjoy Canada’s favourite winter activity in front of the most Canadian of backdrops!
It’s open from 10am till 10pm weekdays and from 8am till 10pm weekends except for special events – you can skate for free but need to get tickets to be allowed on the ice.
The Canada 150 rink will provide the unique opportunity for Canadians and visitors of all ages to skate in the shadow of Parliament Hill’s iconic Peace Tower. Open from December 7th, 2017 to February 25th, 2018, the rink will feature hundreds of hours of public skating, allowing more than 100,000 Canadians a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to skate on Parliament Hill.

Passes are available online up to 2 days in advance (reservation begins at noon)
